Panasonic DMC-G1 Micro Four Thirds camera review
I get the exclusive UK review of the newest system to hit the market. There’s more to see at www.ephotozine.tv Don’t forget to check out the written review on http … panasonic dmc g1 digital camera review micro four thirds dslr photo photography photographic lens aperture

The price cannot cheap because of the high quality electronic viewfinder that is liquit cristal on silicon (not a usual LCD) design coming from Panasonic pro camcorders. It’s the first ever use of this kind of a viefinder in a consumer products.
Excellent in-depth review. The presenter has squeezed in so much information in just 8. 49 minutes.
How are you liking the camera so far? I’m still deciding. . I really like the look of it. . but I’m not sure. . I’m kind of concern about its battery life though. . can you write back telling me more about the camera please? Thanks.
Great review, very informative in under just 9 minutes, thx!
you’d be pretty screwed but i can’t think of a reason why you’d want to stick your hand in there. You can get cleaning kits but it can prove tricky.
what would happen if you got a finger print on the sensor?
I have bought one a few days back. It’s gonna ship to me next week. Can’t hardly wait!
it wont cause the D90 is not high end, all DSLRs from 200 to 1000 Dollar are nearly the same. The sensor is the same size and thats the problem of the Panasonic, the sensor is a little bit smaller then for example Canon 450D or Nikon D60, it means the G1 produce much noise in higher iso rates.
man this will piss all over the nikon d40, this will rival many mid range dslr’s no problem at all, only high end ones like the nikon d90, imho will touch it, and they are very very soon bringing out a HD video recording one called DMC-GH1
absolutely wicked review, full in depth chatter on all aspects about this little beau, i dunno but i am prepared to go for this and go the extra cost for the size and portability and of course the weight, also other reviews have statted that the lens on this is very very good and they are bringing out several others this year alone, probably one of the nicest looking cameras in the current market
the only problem is the price. its a revolutionary product, but asking for 700-800 bucks is too much. i would buy it for 500 bucks. but with the cheap nikons and canons out there, i’ll pass on this with a heavy heart
$800 too much for this camera
well it should be easier to clean the sensor as it is so accessible. Anyway given the lack of dedicated lenses it is unlikely you will be taking the kit lens off.
stupid questions, isnt there a big dust proplem with this system, the sensor is not covered? can this camera produce the same noise free and sharp images a dslr can do because it uses the same sensor right? I want a Nikon D40 but this is also interesting cause the size is small.
You can get one. It’s called the TZ5
great review. while i don’t see myself getting a m4/3 camera for me, i can definitely see myself getting one for a family member who’s just getting started. if the price is right, this can be the perfect mid-level camera to bridge p&s and and a dslr.
Fantastic, thankyou. Currently an FZ18 user, and this looks very interesting. . . .
Excellent job! It’s better than the CNET review.
The G1 is paradigm shift and you got it.
Let’s hope the price will drop by at least half and HD video will be included. I would really like a less pricey fixed lens, ultra zoom model.
very good review 5*
i`m an fz10 owner from the beginning it came out and hope i can affort this camera soon
faboulus camera that will suit all my photographic needs and more at this time
Very Nice Review. Thank you for posting this.
